I Got a Skype Phone
Got the Skype phone from SMC. Like it already. (Gives me a "WiFi connection cannot connect to Internet" but connects anyway (probably a firewall issue) ) (later, the issue disappeared out of the blue).
Book: Jpod
I read Douglas Coupland's "Jpod" and liked it. Not as futureshocking or innovative as "Microserfs", but keeps you updated. My preferred character is John Doe, a guy who's goal is to be as average as possible.

This statue has been raised in front of Copenhagen's Town Hall to protest against the Common Agricultural Policy. I happen to agree. If the third world isn't allowed to trade in agriculture, what else can they trade? A removal of the CAP might hurt western farmers in the short run, but this industry cannot claim a special status anymore. Let the market determine what and where we produce.
